Agios Spiridon beach is located on the north coast of Corfu between Kassiopi and Acharavi. It is named after St Spiridon, the patron saint of Corfu, and is made up of two main beaches with another small cove nearby. The main beach, and the most popular one, is a long stretch of sand close to the small chapel dedicated to the saint and with a large beach taverna behind. It is signposted from Roda and Kassiopi and can hardly be missed after an 800-bed holiday complex was erected that dwarfs the resort.
